Hello Bond Hill! The community council in interested in applying for a small grant to educate our community on clean and affordable energy. We are asking for a resident or group of residents to help lead this effort. Please check out the description/information from CUFA, Communities United For Action. If you would be interested in leading this effort (with full support from members of the community council) drop and email to secretary@bond-hill.org
Our deadline to move forward is Monday April 12th.
CUFA is offering 12-18 mini-grants to grassroots, 501 (c)3 organizations working for clean, affordable energy. Grant money may be spent on any aspect of the organization’s work to educate and activate its members to promote affordable and sustainable energy.
Some activities may include:
Hosting meetings to learn about affordable energy solutions
Helping members to learn how they can weatherize their homes
Hosting discussions about climate change
Helping members enroll in energy assistance programs
In consideration of the fact that we are still dealing with COVID, most of these requirements can be met virtually or in small, socially distanced and masked groups.
Again, if you would be interested please send an email to secretary@bond-hill.org. For more information about CUFA, visit https://www.cufacincy.org/
